We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our IT team on-site in Maple Cross. You will manage the full lifecycle delivery of allocated IT projects and programmes required across Skanska UK business functions within the constraints of cost, time and quality available, managing project budgets, risks and issues, stakeholder management activities and communication plans

   

You'll                                           

  • Manage the full lifecycle delivery of allocated IT projects.
  • Be accountable for defining, creating and delivering on agreed project plans ensuring realisation of required business benefits objectives stated in the Business Case
  • Be a visionary leader for projects and programmes, articulating the direction and defining the boundaries.
  • Manage large programmes delivering business change,
  • Managing the programme or project's budget,
  • Support the on-going PMO development and help evolve the project delivery framework and internal PM processes, procedures, skills and capabilities
  • Set, document and agree project methodology and approach for each project to meet the highest quality and Skanska standards

 We’re looking for: 

  • PPM or PRINCE2 practitioner
  • Agile Scrum Master or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in IT or equivalent experience
  • ITIL foundation
  • Experience in supporting and leading business transformation programmes
  • Experience in managing high value budget programmes/projects
  • Ability to create complex roadmaps and manage critical path and dependencies of large projects and programmes 

 

 

Our Central Support teams are an integral part of Skanska, and comprise our enabling functions such as Human Resources, Communications, Finance, IT, Health and Safety, Legal and Technical Services.  As part of this team you will provide the support needed to enable Skanska to achieve its purpose to build for a better society. Central teams are based at our head office in Hertfordshire with some regional business partners based across the UK.
