Skanska is looking for a full-time Proposal Writer in Atlanta, Durham, Tampa, Nashville, Cincinnati or New York. Please include a cover letter and writing sample with your resume.

What You’ll Do:

Support our overall sales and marketing efforts by taking on responsibilities like:

•Collaborating with operations and other marketing team members to write/edit proposals;

•Coordinating with marketing on content for documents such as white papers, case studies and industry award applications;

•Researching and reviewing industry press, trade publications, local publications and past proposals to share with writing team and integrate into boilerplate and proposals;

•Ensuring corporate brand messages are being represented correctly and communicated properly;

•Creating boilerplate documents;

•Managing multiple assignments simultaneously while working independently and with other writers.

We’re Looking For: 

•3-5 years of experience in a technical/proposal editing/writing role or similar capacity;

•A bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, English, communications or related discipline;

•Expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite;

•Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills;

•The ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines;

•A team player mindset with the ability to work independently;

•A willingness to learn and work above and beyond;

•Determination and dependability;

•The ability to think outside the box to find solutions to problems;

•Some travel expected.

Some other skills that would be great to have, but aren’t required include:

•Experience using Adobe InDesign;

•Experience in the Architectural, Construction, Engineering industry.
