Graduate Communications Specialist - Development Programme 2018
Our graduate programme will help you develop your skills and experience, build on your degree and help you realise your career goals that much quicker.
As a Graduate Communications Specialist you’ll complete all aspects of our two year Skanska graduate programme, including the delivery of two key projects, and training and development that is unique to Skanska.
What you’ll do:
  • Identify appropriate communications methods (tools, techniques and best practices).
  • Help guide the senior management team with how best to communicate both externally and internally.
  • Support the integration of communications activities along with the implementation of tRIIO’s communications strategy, including social media, website, Intranet and mobile communications.
  • Ensure the communications strategy and delivery plan is kept up to date and that activities are aligned and delivered to time, cost, quality and performance metrics.
  • Ensure brand guidelines and visual and written standards are kept up to date and are adhered to.
  • Manage and deliver a number of projects running concurrently.
Who you are:
  • Studying to degree level, or having completed a BA/MA in a Public Relations and/or Communications related subject.
  • No previous experience in construction is required but you will want to help us shape the future and build for a better society
  • You’ll be flexible with your location and be prepared to relocate (if required) as our roles can be located anywhere across the UK
