This is a clerical position responsible for supporting the administrative needs of the EHS Department.

What You'll Do:
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports for the EHS Department;
  • Receive incident reports and set up claim files , input data, and reports to insurance carrier;
  • Maintain and track incident files, reports and collect information from projects to assure prompt reporting and follow up;
  • Track EH&S related training;
  • Maintain EH&S performance reporting statistics current and submit accurate reports, and support the bi-monthly internal auditing process for safety performance;
  • Provide required documentation for bid/proposal pre-qualification packages;
  • Accumulate, organize and prepare transmittal packages in response to document requests and discovery demands;
  • Maintain correspondence with attorneys on any and all litigated cases
  • Manage all correspondence and communications with customers, claimants, attorneys, medical providers, employees, etc;
  • Sorting mail, answering phones, taking messages and following up with customers;
  • Coordinate and administer training for Intelex and Skanska Learning Center;
  • Administrator of software programs such as: Intelex, Sitehawk, Summit, Predictive Solutions;
  • Organize and coordinate EH&S related functions such as: Safety Week;
  • Coordinating activities, such as workshops and meetings, both on and off the job site;
  • Other office duties, such as filing, copying, scanning, and ordering supplies;
  • Assist with any and all correspondence as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned or required by the EHS Director.

  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years’ experience in a Legal / Insurance / Safety office environment required; construction background preferred. 
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel experience required. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task required. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
