The Document Control Director assists and supports the project team on large or multiple small/medium-size projects.  The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.
 
What You'll Do:
  • Manage Document Control Managers and Engineers;
  • Ensure consistency in document management procedures across multiple projects;
  • Deliver accurate and timely document control reporting to project leadership;
  • Work closely with project leadership and various functional leadership to proactively monitor and address upcoming issues related to project documentation and requirements;
  • Interface with document management personnel on the client, developer, and design teams;
  • Set up project workflows to ensure proper information flow;
  • Perform training on systems and processes;
  • Formulate a document control action plan;
  • Train and mentors resources in document control.
We're Looking For:
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products;
  • Proficiency in Prolog, SharePoint, and DocuPro for document management;
  • Knowledge of document control standards;
  • Risk management mindset;
  • Strong financial/business knowledge;
  • Thorough understanding of industry;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Dependability;
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;
  • Ability to develop or maintain relationships with clients;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Strong decision making/problem solving skills;
  • 10+ years of industry experience.
